"Invasion" and "Asteroids"

My interest in Virtual Reality led me to work for a startup company called Baobab Studios. I was the supervising animator on the first two of their projects called - "Invasion" and "Asteroids". Similar to my experience on "Henry" this felt like a big search for the medium and what can be done in VR. I will never forget all the experiments we were doing, trying to see what would work and what wouldn't. And trying to undestand why certain things make the audience feel certain way. One of the interesting components we needed to figure out was storyboarding for VR projects like this. I think these were my first moments when I realized that I am starting to have more and more interest in story than animating itself. We also won a bunch of Daytime EMMYs, just like HENRY did.
